Top, useful foods, for a young man on the go:
- The bagel: Robust and filling. Tastes good on it’s own or with a sachet of tomato sauce. It’s great design means it doesn’t damage easily and it lasts inyour bag for days!
- A banana: Nature’s own packed lunch. Just unzip when you need a healthy snack.
- St Dalfour Ready To Eat French Bistro: A whole meal in a can! The packaging is a bit flowery (perhaps that appeals to the girls), but it is brimful with good food. No preparation needed. Perhaps appeals to the young executive type.
Small things that work. It’s just a man thing. Useful gadgets easily at hand. Food you can just grab and go.
Seriously, my friend would carry around a can opener in his bag. When he was hungry he’d buy a can of ready-made custard.
When it comes to most men we’re not talking nouvelle cuisine here, but then again, with the St Dalfour French Bistro tins, perhaps we are? (No can opener needed.)
What makes them appealing is that they’re so useful. The kind of thing a guy can store in his ‘man drawer’ (see below) for a midnight snack.
And what’s even more important is that it tastes good too. We’re talking Salmon or Couscous or Pasta (all with Vegetables) or there’s a Whole Grains or Bean salad version too (if that’s your thing). Personally, I think GoodnessDirect should get in the duck, ham and chicken versions as well, but the main thing is they taste good – that’s what you’d expect of French food.
Here’s what it says on the tin:
“certified by the French government. It is made with an all natural ‘optimal food process’ which creates a deep vacuum. This vacuum provides a wholesome fresh taste without the need for preservatives.”
You see what I’m talking about, intelligent design, “optimal food process” … this is man food stuff, but erm, all natural and in a flowery tin.

Wow..bet my boy friends gonna love it here..
